The Return of the Prodigal Son

Well...not so much.  After a much long hiatus, I have decided to start posting again.  The rumours of my passing have been much exaggerated as in, non-existent.  My postings may follow an irregular pattern but I am now hoping to keep up so to speak.  Much time has passed and I have been quite busy in my school program.  It really seems never ending.  This is my sixth straight year of post secondary education and I have to say, I am quite ready to be over it.  It is a new year and my resolution is for surviving my program.

I was hoping to ring in the New Year by winning the lottery.  I tend to hope for the best and expect to win and you know, each time, it seems to be an elderly person who wins.  Now, I have nothing against the elderly.  Well, nothing that I am willing to own up to at the moment but it seems to me that the lotto should be won by those who can enjoy it for the longest?  I may be a little cynical but until I win that lottery, I guess I will be trucking along in school.  There will be highs, and many, many lows.  I hope everyone is ready for the year, I know I'm not...until next time.
